For me once I encountered Jesus, I sensed His presence and through everything going on in my life, all of a sudden, through the thoughts and anxieties, a sudden peace came.

If you’re looking to encounter Jesus, then here are some steps recommended by Joe:
Seek the Lord: If you seek Him, you will find Him.
Get into your local groups, see if you can find a Charismatic one.
Listen to Joe’s weekly live stream if you cannot find a local group.
Study your scripture so you can understand what Jesus has done for you.
Allow the Spirit to work in your life as the Logos becomes Rhema
Give the Holy Spirit time and space to act.
Take off the weight on yourself and surrender to the Lord.
Joe has some amazing examples that he shares through this entire episode. He talks about how miracles happen through these encounters and how the Holy spirit demonstrates He is with us. Sometimes we underestimate the power of an encounter. Yet, once you have one like Peter and Paul and all the saints, you’re life will never be the same again.
I am so grateful to Joe who agreed to do this podcast at 7 am on a Saturday morning. I had no internet and we somehow by God’s grace managed to record this entire podcast with my phone internet. Truly, God was with us. It is always mind-blowing how God fixes things when we put Him first. I strongly encourage you as you are going about your prayer life and feel the anxieties of the world overcoming you, seek the Lord and ask Him to become visible to you. Dreams, visions, words, prophecies, healing, all of these and more will be give to you. Above all, you will have peace. That is the power of the encounter!
