Yay! Ten days to go for the official release of Bowled. I know I’ve released teaser covers on social media but here’s the cover. Finally! 😃
Cover Reveal: Bowled
Touchpoint Press has done something fantastic by selecting my birthday for the official release of the first novel in the “To Love A Sportsman” Series in ten days. This series will feature four separate books with different sports. The first book is based on cricketers. As for the rest of this contemporary romance series, let me say, book two is ready and I’m currently writing book 3! 🤫
25/100 challenge
Ask any Indian woman what they’re doing the day India plays Pakistan in any cricket format. Whether that’s T20 or a one-day international, every Indian is glued to the TV or radio following the commentary. Does anyone else remember the “Mauka” ads? 🤣
To celebrate the cover reveal and my new release we’re doing the 25/100 challenge. If I get 100 women telling me what they love about cricket on Twitter, Facebook or here at my website. I’m going to give away 25 free copies of my book to the best comments. Or more!!! 😲
Dedication
This book is dedicated to Sheba Syed, Tejaswini Manerikar(also my photographer) and Payal Shah, three of the most badass (I hope this isn’t a bad word😉) Indian gals I’ve ever met! Thank you ladies, for the unwavering support for my books and work.
Why I love cricket?
I love cricket because I enjoy watching the stumping and MSD. As a kid, I loved watching Jonty Rhodes of South Africa but when MSD (MS Dhoni) became the Indian skipper, I only watched the sport because I loved watching him behind the wickets. Who can forget how he helped us beat Bangladesh in the death overs back in 2018? 😮 That last ball run out coupled with Pandya’s bowling was just magnificent. His razor sharp wicket-keeping skills have gotten India many wins. Here are some of his best stumpings.
Tell me why you love cricket
So in ten days when my birthday swings by, I hope to see your comments and hear from you about why you love cricket.
